I decided to make a Mic Drop cold call script for a company called LeaseQuery, which is some technical accounting product used by a crazy number of different industries from Oil & Gas to Restaurants to Governments and even Non-Profits. And yet, with zero understanding of accounting (trust me, I failed this class twice in university) and no product training, I was able to make a solid script.
In fact, one of the sales leaders from the LeaseQuery gave it the thumbs up!
So point being, cut the crap. Every product has a very specific pain it solves and every buyer has a problem that is a major emotional trigger for them. It’s our jobs as sellers to translate those into a short, succinct message that explains it better than even our buyers could.
