Today I’m sharing a simple method to help you find warm leads.
LinkedIn has a hidden prospecting feature.
And no one's talkin' bout it.
One of the best prospecting signals to look for is people attending events that are relevant to the problems you solve.
The issue?
It's hard to find those events.
And it's even harder to find WHO is attending them.
But with LinkedIn Live events, you can actually see EVERYONE who's attending.
This means you can easily search for events related to the problem you solve.
Scrape the emails of people attending those events.
Then reach out saying you noticed they're attending that event, and provide some sort of value related to the topic.
It’s one of my favorite creative prospecting strategies.
Here’s how you can do it in 7 steps:
Step 1: On LinkedIn, search for a keyword related to the problems you solve
Step 2: Filter by "Events"
Step 3: Find an upcoming event with a decent number of attendees
Step 4: Register for the event, then click on "Networking" (this lets you see who’s attending)
Step 5: Scrape the LinkedIn profiles for ICP personas (I like Clay.com's free Chrome extension)
Step 6: Find emails for those LinkedIn profiles (I like Prospeo's 'bulk LinkedIn email finder')
Step 7: Send them an email that looks like this -
{{first}} - saw we’re both attending [event] on LinkedIn live.
Looks like [observation about why they might be attending that event].
If [topic of the event] is top of mind for you, I thought you might find [resource] helpful.
